Perth’s Devilles Pad Is Closing Down Next Month

Beloved Perth venue Devilles Pad has announced it is shutting up shop, with the “Las Vegas style hell themed bar” breaking the news today that it will permanently close its doors next month.

The bar’s management took to Facebook this evening to announce that Saturday 21st March will be the final night of trade for Devilles Pad. “As saddened as we are that the doors of Hell are closing, in true Deville’s style we plan on going out with GUNS BLAZIN!” reads the post.

“We want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the years and look forward to celebrating with you all in the coming weeks.” The Perth venue has been a popular venue for stage shows and live music over the years, with crowds, and touring celebrities like Justin Timberlake, drawn in by its devilish decor.

The bar has not provided reasons for its closure, but many have taken to social media to express their disappointment with the news. Amongst them is Soundwave’s AJ Maddah. “Such a great club. What a shame. :(,” he tweeted.

The bar’s management have directed patrons to check out the bar’s remaining scheduled shows for the forthcoming Friday and Saturday nights, as well as their Rock & Roll Karaoke and “general shenanigans” held every Thursday until midnight.
