Splendour 2016 Act Lido Will Premiere His Whole Debut Album At Coachella

Norwegian producer Lido has been a busy man condensing Kanye’s The Life Of Pablo into one remix and self-directing his video for Crazy but apparently he’s also had the time to finish an album.

Lido is playing Coachella in California over the next two weekends and he’s announced that he will debut the album in full there. And that’s whether his record label likes it or not.

“I’m gonna get in so much trouble for this, but fuck it,” he wrote on Facebook.

“My album is done and I’m playing the whole thing at Coachella. see you Friday.”

The album follows his debut solo EP I Love You released in 2014 and will presumably feature the aforementioned Crazy which dropped last week.

It’s unknown whether the album will also be released for those of us not at Coachella or whether it will only exist in a live capacity at this stage.

Coachella will be streaming all the action this weekend so there’s a chance that they will stream Lido’s album premiere on Friday, so keep an eye out for that.

Lido was announced on the Splendour In The Grass lineup this morning and will make his first appearance in the country since 2014. Hopefully, he’ll also be performing the album in full by the time Splendour rolls around.
