Splendour in the Grass Live Stream Back For 2012

Totally bitter about not heading to this year’s redonkulously awesome Splendour in the Grass? Well, the taste of lemon and anguish has been lessened ever so slightly by the announcement that Virgin Mobile will be providing a live stream of some of the festivities taking place over the coming weekend.

After the successful streaming of Splendour in the Grass 2011, which saw over 46,650 music fans hop online to see what they were missing, Virgin Mobile is once again filming some of the festival’s biggest acts such as Miike Snow and Kimbra and making the sets available worldwide.

The exclusive Virgin Mobile Live Stream 2012 will give fans at home the chance to enjoy uninterrupted access to Spelndour via Virgin Moblie’s YouTube Channel and the official Splendour in the Grass app. With a mix of live and pre-recorded performances and backstage artist interviews, it’ll almost be like you’re actually at Splendour in the Grass, although of course you won’t be.

The stream will include sets from both the Mixup and Supertop stages and begin on Saturday, July 28 from 3pm.

For additional info and updates during the live stream, check out Virgin Moblie’s Facebook page and official website.
