Sydney’s First-Ever Good Saturday Music Festival Has Been Cancelled

The first edition of Sydney’s Good Saturday festival has been cancelled less than two weeks out from its scheduled debut.

The new music festival was set to take place in Marrickville on Saturday, 31st March with a lineup topped by Something For Kate, You Am I, Augie March and Jen Cloher, but will no longer be going ahead.

In a statement, organisers say, “It is with deep regret that the organisers of Good Saturday announce that this year’s event, scheduled for Saturday March 31, will not be going ahead.

“Due to circumstances beyond the organisers control we are unable to proceed with this show. It’s not a decision any of us have taken lightly, and we apologise sincerely for any inconvenience caused.”

Ticket-holders will be contacted by Oztix for refunds.
