The 1975 Add Adelaide Show To Australian Tour

UK indie-rock quartet The 1975 are headed back to Australia for the third time in January 2015 for their biggest shows yet and fans are clearly excited about it. In just under a week their show at Melbourne’s Festival Hall has sold out and the boys have now added an all ages Adelaide show to their Australian tour.

In response to demand via social media and even an online petition, the all ages show will take place at Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Saturday, 10th January. This will be the band’s first headline show in the South Australian capital following on from their Big Day Out appearance earlier this year.

Fans world-wide have been enamoured by The 1975′s unique amorphous drifts between brooding rock, crisp electronica, dance floor r’n’b, and ’80s gloss pop. They were only recently tearing up Australian stages, appearing at this year’s Splendour In The Grass and some sold-out sideshows.

As well as Adelaide and Melbourne, the band will perform at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion and play their first headlining show in Brisbane at the Marquee. Remaining tickets to these shows are limited, so we suggest sweeping them up quick-smart.
