Triple J’s ‘One Night Stand’ Reveals Killer 2017 Lineup

ORIGINAL STORY: Organise a van or borrow your parents’ station wagon, and for the love of all that is good put in your leave request NOW, because triple j’s free and all-ages One Night Stand has just unveiled a superb 2017 lineup.

The yearly rural show is back for 2017, and this year’s lineup features a bunch of your triple j faves: Melbourne rockers The Smith Street Band, Hottest 100 bronze medallist Tash Sultana and WA indie-rockers San Cisco and Blue Mountains hip hop crew Thundamentals.

One very lucky triple j Unearthed artist will also eventually join the lineup, and will open this year’s One Night Stand on Saturday, 22nd April.

While the location for this year’s shindig is still yet to be announced, it’ll likely be in a regional town far away from its recent locations like Geraldton in Western Australia, Mildura in Victoria and Dubbo in New South Wales, while the festival has only once been held in the Northern Territory and never before in Tasmania.

The new location will be revealed on Tuesday, 21st March.

Last year’s epic One Night Stand featured some truly outstanding collabs from its artists, so expect the unexpected from this year’s performers, as well as some cheeky ~special guests~.
