Hold on to your glowsticks because Ultra music festival has just unveiled an official date and venue for its Aussie debut in 2018.
Actually, drop your glowsticks and replace them with pencils so you can write down February 24th at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl because that’s when the EDM mega-bash is headed to our shores.
The 2018 event has already been announced as a single-stage, single-day festival that will hit the Victorian capital, before the full Ultra Music Festival experience (which is multi-stage and multi-day, FYI) hits Melbourne and Sydney at some point in 2019.
Ticketing details are still TBA but they’ll apparently be “announced soon”.
“Over the past few years, Ultra Worldwide has ventured to many locations across the globe,” organisers said in the official Aussie expansion announcement earlier this year.
“We are thrilled to announce that Ultra Worldwide will now be expanding to Ibiza, China, India, and Australia!”
Ultra announced in March that it had plans to expand to Australia in 2018.
We’re keen AF to see what they’ve got in store for the festival’s debut Aussie lineup. Stay tuned, but for now you can have a froth over the one that was recently announced for Ultra Japan.
