Well Splendour in the Grass is one sleep away and all roads to Byron Bay are filled with convoys headed to the hallowed ground that will see so many incredible international and local acts take the stage and contribute to what will assuredly be an unforgettable festival.
One of the major drawcards is Jack White, who has added to his impressive legacy this year with the release of Blunderbuss. Having just played in Melbourne, and with another side show in Sydney tonight, Australian fans are finally experiencing new tracks such as Love Interruption and Freedom at 21 in a live setting.
While in Australia, White sat down with Triple M’s Higgo to discuss all things musical. During the 15-minute interview, the engaging White speaks about why he’s not a proponent of setlists, jokes about his jealousy of hip hop artists’ freedom to be braggadocious, and explains why each song on an album should be individualistic.
