Jack White has announced some Australian tour dates on the back of his appearance on the Splendour in the Grass 2012 lineup this July. He’ll be performing two headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney to show off his debut solo album Blunderbluss.
Undoubtedly one of the world’s most prolific artists to emerge in the past fifteen years, Jack White has helmed some of the world’s most venerable musical outfits, including The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather.
His debut solo album has been a long time coming, and has already impressed, with the first singles Love Interruption and Sixteen Saltines leaving us hungry for more.
Joining White will be Sydney’s own Lanie Lane, who Jack worked with last year to produce a single Ain’t Hungry for his Third Man Records Blue Label series.
