Another Kanye West show, another epic rant where he interrupts his show and tells the crowd about everything that’s bothering him. This time, fans at one of his hastily-organised intimate shows in London were treated to Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy unleashing his thoughts on Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z‘s new single as well as the Grammys.
During a performance of Clique, the rapper launched into a blistering spoken word piece, which appeared to be given a running title of Remind Me Again Why We In This Shit?, laying the boot into many high-profile soft targets. Yeeze had previously declared his dislike for the Grammys (and that he wouldn’t be attending this year) during his 3-night stand in Atlantic City over New Years Eve, and at last night’s gig involved the awards ceremony in an odd 10-minute outburst.
“Remind me again why the Grammys can suck my dick?” proffers West, before moving on to his next targets, JT & Jay-Z – “I got love for Hov, but I ain’t fucking with that Suit & Tie.”
He also weighed into the debate of the cost of making ‘art’ and how much it is valued – “Since when was making art about getting rich? And I know it’s easy for me to say this. Having money’s not everything, not having it is.”
