The summer vibes are still pumping from the team at La Casa Artist Residency, as evident in the latest video released from the oasis documenting the 1st Annual Corona Party Wave Invitational. Many people will be familiar with the idea of a party wave, but put $1,000 on the line and things get way more exciting.
Donavon Frankenreiter has been a key feature at the house since arriving in Australia and makes some hilarious appearances in the clip. Whilst he doesn’t win the party wave comp, he certainly goes hard for an old mate. Other artists you might recognise include Ash Grunwald and Scott Owen from The Living End.
The good times are also experienced by a stack of other super chillers including surfboard shapers Matt Yeates and Eden Saul and pro surfer Garrett Parkes with small crowd of mates.
Once the rules are explained, its clear things are going to get messy, and indeed they do. The gang wrap things up by paddling in for a cheeky jam. Check it out.
