Watch: Method Man Announces ‘Enter The Wu-Tang’ 20th Anniversary Edition

Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man has announced that fans can expect a 20th Anniversary album sometime this year. The news came during a concert at the Key Club in West Hollywood, during which Method Man made mention of the anniversary album multiple times.

Although Method Man didn’t mention Wu-Tang’s album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) by name, 2013 does mark the 20th anniversary since the release of the group’s classic debut record. As Feeds reported late last year, fellow Wu-Tang member RZA was looking to drop the 20th anniversary edition this November.

At the time, Wu-Tang card carrier Ghostface Killah said he had laid down vocals for what could be the long-awaited followed up to 2007’s 8 Diagrams. Killah remarked that he is behind the idea of the mighty Wu-Tang reforming under the leadership of RZA:

[RZA] was like, if y’all can just believe in me and let me go ahead and do what I gotta do with this, we could just be outta here and make a shitload of money. I believe in him because if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be standing here today, regardless of what. He was determined. He still got that same hunger for this Wu shit.”
