ZHU Announces One-Off Australian Headline Show

While in town for the inaugural Curve Ball shindig, oracular DJ ZHU will be performing a very special, very one-off headline show at Melbourne’s The Forum on Monday, June 13th.

ZHU will be in good form, heading Down Under off the back of his performance at the recent Coachella festival. Having graced our stages in the past, Australian fans know all too well the unique brand of enigmatic chaos that comes with a ZHU show.

This time, however, ZHU will be moments away from the July 29th release date of his debut album Generation Why, meaning new tuneage – such as his Faithless remix at Coachella – is highly likely.

Or, perhaps the recently aired collaboration with AlunaGeorge, My Blood. The down-tempo, slow grinding offer to the hip hop gods aired on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show overnight and will find it’s way onto AlunaGeorge’s highly anticipated sophomore album.

With a penchant for collabs (CC: Bone Thugs, Skillrex, Gallant), it isn’t just the fans or peers that get excited about ZHU – in 2014 the producer was nominated for a Grammy for one of the year’s most righteous jams Faded.

The headline show compliments not just his appearance at the Vivid Sydney event Curve Ball, but also his involvement in this year’s Dark Mofo festival.
