The Wombats Announce Intimate Sydney ‘War Child’ Charity Show

English indie rockers The Wombats have announced an intimate Sydney show in support of the War Child charity, which supports children caught in conflict and war.

The concert will take place at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Tuesday, 27th November (as part of ARIA Week), and will be the first of its kind in Australia.

Double passes are available through a prize draw by making a $10 donation to War Child, or there are also limited tickets on sale. Catch all the details down below.

“We’re so happy to support War Child and all the fantastic work they do around the world,” say The Wombats.

“We are very proud to join the prestigious list of artists who have helped raise funds and awareness for this wonderful charity over the years. Helping children who have had a really difficult and traumatic start in life through music and other creative mediums is such a force for good in this turbulent world.”

War Child is known for its work in the UK, but is now bringing its experience to Australia to support children through education, mental health and psychosocial support.

The Wombats will also perform headline shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane in November, among their performances at Spilt Milk and Grapevine festivals.
