Flogging Molly, Lukas Nelson & More Announce Bluesfest 2019 Sideshows

Five more Bluesfest 2019 acts have announced sideshows for next year, before the annual Byron Bay festival returns in March.

California-based Irish-American Celtic folk-punk band Flogging Molly have announced headline shows across Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, off the back of their latest album Life Is Good.

Meanwhile, Willie Nelson’s son Lukas Nelson has announced three headline shows with his band Promise Of The Real, after recently working on the soundtrack for Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s new movie A Star Is Born.

Elsewhere, Austin-born blues rocker Shakey Graves (real name Alejandro Rose-Garcia) will perform in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland behind his latest album Can’t Wake Up, while David Gray and Meshell Ndegeocello have also announced headline dates.

Supporting Flogging Molly in 170 Russell and the Metro, Sydney will be Essex-born songwriter Beans on Toast. Also supporting Flogging Molly are Sydney rockers Food Court.
