Everyone’s fave deagle king might not be deagling for much longer.
ICYMI, voting for triple j‘s Hottest 100 2018 opened this morning and, to promote the vote, the radio station dropped a pretty epic trailer starring a whole bunch of your fave musos taking breakfast host Liam Stapleton to prison for forgetting to vote, as he should be.
In a brilliant spoof of Netflix’s runaway true crime hit Making A Murderer, an array of musicians from across the globe express their thoughts on Liam’s case. These include, but not limited to, A$AP Rocky, Brockhampton, Amine, Paul Kelly, Montaigne, Thelma Plum, The Rubens, Polish Club, Vera Blue, Charli XCX, King Princess and more.
Not to mention, a couple of the musos test out their acting chops playing various roles in law enforcement. You’ve got Peking Duk as a pair of cops, Client Liaison, Eves Karydas, Kwame and Kota Banks as Liam’s legal team, Jack River as a reporter and Steve Aoki steps in for the role of judge in the case.
Voting for 2018’s Hottest 100 is now open here and is open until 9am on Tuesday, 22nd January 2019. The countdown will air on Sunday, 27th January.
