OH-WAH-AH-AH-AH! Nu-metal titans Disturbed are getting down with the sickness Down Under, announcing their first Australian headline tour in more than a decade – and they’re bringing one hell of a setlist with them.
The Chicago heavyweights will return to our shores in April and May 2027 for five massive arena shows, performing their seminal 2000 debut album The Sickness in its entirety, followed by a second set of career-spanning greatest hits.
Disturbed – ‘Down With The Sickness’
Yep, that’s two full sets of Disturbed for the price of one ticket, with an intermission separating the band’s nostalgic nu-metal throwback from a barrage of their biggest anthems.
The Australian leg will kick off at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, 28th April, before storming through Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne, wrapping up at Perth’s RAC Arena on Sunday, 9th May.
The tour will also include two New Zealand dates in Auckland and Christchurch, marking the band’s first headline trek across both countries in more than 10 years.
The announcement follows Disturbed’s mammoth The Sickness anniversary tour across North America, the UK and Europe, which saw them perform to more than half a million fans.
Originally unleashed upon the world in 2000, The Sickness helped establish Disturbed as one of the defining forces of the nu-metal era, spawning enduring heavy music staples including Down With The Sickness, Stupify, Voices and The Game.
The record has since been certified five-times platinum in the US and spent a whopping 106 weeks on the Billboard 200.
More than a quarter of a century later, the band’s appetite for sonic destruction shows no signs of slowing.
Their latest single, I Will Not Break, recently topped the Mediabase Active Rock Chart, marking their 19th number one on the chart, while both Down With The Sickness and their haunting cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s The Sound Of Silence have surpassed one billion streams apiece on Spotify.
Across their career, Disturbed have sold more than 17 million records, amassed nearly 14 billion streams and scored five consecutive number-one album debuts on the Billboard 200.
Now, Aussie fans will finally get another chance to experience the band’s formidable live show, with the added bonus of hearing the album that started it all from beginning to end.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 1pm local time on Friday, 30th October, with an artist presale kicking off at midday on Wednesday, 28th October.
A Live Nation presale will follow at midday on Thursday, 29th October, running until midday Friday or until the allocation is exhausted.
