PREMIERE: Young Vincent Share Their Scorching Self-Titled, Debut EP

Melbourne band Young Vincent have been working tirelessly on music as they build themselves as one of the quintessential bands of the local indie scene, and now they finally have an EP to share with the world.

The Young Vincent EP features already released track ‘Big News’, which came out last Friday, and contains four other searing new tracks for fans to sink their teeth into. If you’re a fan of The War On Drugs or Fleet Foxes, this band is for you.

The EP was recorded with the helpful guidance of Callum Barter (Courtney Barnett, Kurt Vile) and Adam Dempsey (CW Stoneking) at Melbourne’s Newmarket Studios. The band released a statement on how the EP is a culmination of years of experiences together.

This EP has been a long time coming for us. It’s a collection of our proudest and most diversely creative songwriting,” the band said.

“From the beginning, we had a goal to change people’s expectations and to uncover a sound that is true to us. We couldn’t be happier with how it has come together and we are so excited to share these five songs.”

On top of that, the band are also launching the EP at a special gig at Melbourne’s iconic Northcote Social Club on Friday, 15th March.
