Twigs season is in full effect, as FKA twigs is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming second album MAGDALENE. Now, she’s given us the third single from the album, ‘Home With You’, accompanied by a stunning music video.
‘Home With You’ is a dark and powerful track that opens with intense distortion before morphing into a beautiful, orchestral ballad. It is peak FKA twigs.
However, with the release of ‘Home With You’, the release date of MAGDALENE has sadly been pushed back a short amount. While it was originally scheduled to be released on October 25th, it will now be released on Friday, 7th November.
‘Home With You’ is the third song we’ve heard of twigs’ follow up to 2014’s LP1, having released ‘Cellophane’ and the Future-featuring ‘Holy Terrain’ earlier this year.
FKA twigs was here earlier this year for two very special performances as part of Sydney’s VIVID Live and Hobart’s Dark Mofo.
