Watch The Used’s Bert McCracken Join The Veronicas At Good Things For A Cover Of ‘The Taste Of Ink’

This weekend the whole of the east coast has been truly overtaken by Good Things fever, as the festival makes its second ever run across the country.

The Veronicas caused some raised eyebrows when they were announced on the bill, but they keep proving themselves worthy. The latest surprise? Bringing out Bert McCracken for a cover of The Used‘s ‘The Taste Of Ink.’

As pedestrian.tv reports, McCracken is currently living in Sydney with his wife and daughter. Naturally, Jess and Lisa Origliasso invited him on stage to cover his band’s seminal 2002 hit.

And it’s bloody glorious.

This comes after their debut Good Things performance in Melbourne on Friday, where they blessed the world with the biggest wall of death ever for a pop act – we assume.

In our review of the event, Brenton Harris writes “‘Untouched’ hit and the biggest wall of death a pop band has ever inspired laid waste to the mainstage. It was ridiculous and awesome and honestly if you didn’t enjoy it you are allergic to fun. This was an iconic moment.”

Good Things wraps up today in Brisbane.
