With coronavirus forcing many to work from home, large events cancelled, and health organisations around the world encouraging social distancing and self-isolation, electronic instrument manufacturers Moog and Korg have offered their synthesizer apps for iOS and Android devices for free for a limited time in order to keep busy while you’re stuck at home.
Korg have shared their iKaossilator app for iOS and Android, available to download free of charge until March 31st for the iOS version, March 20th for the Android version, in order to “help you with a musical way to occupy your mind.”
The iKaossilator apps are “tools that let you create music by using, moving and swiping a single finger – and you don’t need any musical knowledge to get started,” say Korg.

Meanwhile, Moog are offering their Minimoog Model D iOS app free of charge. Built around Minimoog’s Model D synthesizer, it includes over 160 presets, so anyone can get started right away.
