Twenty One Pilots Are Selling Hoodies To Raise Funds For Their Touring Team

Twenty One Pilots are the latest act to release merch in support of their own touring team, who, like most roadies, obviously haven’t got any work at the moment.

The ‘Crew Nation’ hoodie is on sale as part of a global relief fund for live music crews by the same name, set up by Live Nation for roadies to apply for relief and fans to donate or buy merchandise.

Twenty One Pilots join acts including Metallica, U2, Billie Eilish, Kings Of Leon, Chris Stapleton, Lady Gaga, Post Malone, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters and many more who’ve either donated to the cause or are selling merch as part of the Crew Nation.

The hoodie is a tie-dye effort, featuring an image of Twenty One Pilots and their entire touring crew.

“The entire touring industry is built upon the backs of hard-working crews that make it possible for bands and artists to perform for their fans,” said the duo on their merch page.

“As tours have shut down, we want to do what we can to get these men and women back on their feet.

“Crew members are the backbone of the live music industry, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting them through this temporary intermission until we can once again unite millions around the world through the power of live music.”

Twenty One Pilots released their latest new tune earlier this month, an upbeat earworm titled ‘Level Of Concern’.

The band’s Tyler Joseph called the single “simple but hopeful” and added; “Always writing. But this one feels like it should just come out now.”

Money earned from the sale of the single is also going to Crew Nation.
