This Week’s Sydney Opera House Digital Lineup Is Inspired By VIVID Live

If the world wasn’t going to shit and we weren’t amidst a global pandemic, VIVID Live would be happening in Sydney this week. Alas, there is a pandemic, the world is going to shit and there is no VIVID Live. But Sydney Opera House‘s digital lineup this week will be inspired by the iconic event.

For a few weeks now, the historic venue has been curating various digital lineups featuring a slew of previous performances and exhibitions. This week, in lieu of VIVID, they’ll be focusing on contemporary local and international musicians.

Head of Contemporary Music, Ben Marshall, has curated some of his favourite performances from the event over the past few years. These include sets from Janelle Monáe, Solange, H.E.R., The Cure, Bon Iver, Camp Cope and more.

Additionally, Sydney Opera House will be airing two exclusive performances from Winston Surfshirt and Sydney band Low Life.

Head to the venue’s website to find more information, and revisit Solange’s performance of ‘Losing You’ in the Concert Hall back in 2018.
