Premiere: Sydney’s Wolf Creek Unleash On The Status Quo In Heavy New Belter ‘Culture Shock’

Sydney alternative metal collective Wolf Creek have loosed a new single dubbed ‘Culture Shock’, a frenetic, heavy slammer with stomping riffs, funky slap-bass, glitchy programming and throat-tearing vocals.

Though the homegrown act takes its cues from the likes of Deftones, Architects and Stray From The Path, fans of Swedish melodic deathcore acts like Scar Symmetry and Soilwork will absolutely froth this too.

Their fresh tune also comes packing some intense visuals, starring Home & Away actor Mark Furze and featuring archival footage of some confronting moments from history, which pack an extra hard punch considering recent events around the world.

“‘Culture Shock’ is about the world we live in and its status quo,” explains vocalist Chase Bosward.

“We are all apart of it and there is no escape. If we pay attention we can’t help but feel a massive shock to our system. This song is a release of all our confusion, frustration and fear.”
