Kanye West Has Reportedly Dropped Out Of The 2020 Presidential Race

For better or for worse, Kanye West has reportedly taken himself out of the 2020 American Presidential race, mere weeks after announcing that he planned on running.

As reported by New York Magazine’s Intelligencera member of West’s campaign team, Steve Kramer, told the magazine pretty bluntly that “he’s out.”

Kramer then said he’d let the magazine know what he knows once he gets “all our stuff cancelled.” Presidential Kanye, We Hardly Knew Ye.

This information comes almost as suddenly as the announcement of his campaign just under two weeks ago.

“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future,” West tweeted upon the day of his announcement.

“I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION”

Shortly thereafter, West conducted an interview with Forbes where he outlined some of key policies, and it was frankly…a lot.

He said he was against vaccines, despite revealing he had COVID-19 in the same interview, he said he was against abortion and he said he was done with Trump.

“One of the main reasons I wore the red hat as a protest to the segregation of votes in the Black community. Also, other than the fact that I like Trump hotels and the saxophones in the lobby.”

Another day in 2020, folks.
