The 2020 ARIA Awards Digital Season & Nominations Kick Off Next Week

The 2020 ARIA Awards are looking a little different this year. For the first time ever, the nominations portion of the event will be streamed on Youtube.

The ARIA Awards are teaming up with Youtube Music to deliver the livestreamed version of the event this year, due to the pandemic. It means this is the first time the public will ever hear all the ARIA nominees at the same time as the industry.

To catch it, you’ll need to tune into the Youtube premiere next Tuesday, 13th October at 10am AEDT.

The nominations are set to be hosted by ex-triple j reporter turned Today Show reporter, Brooke Boney.

We’ll also be receiving an appearance from Tones and I, who cleaned up at last year’s ceremony along with Guy Sebastian, who hosted last year’s event and picked up two awards himself, and Dean Lewis.

The news of the digital ARIA Awards season comes after we received news the event would go ahead without a live audience this year.
