Patti Smith And Her Band, George Benson & More Postpone Their Bluesfest Tours To 2022

A slew of international artists that were set to play Bluesfest 2020 have had their planned sideshows rescheduled once again to 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Patti Smith And Her Band, George Benson, Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, Larkin Poe and The Wailers have all today (February 9) announced a slew of shows for April 2022.

In addition, punters with tickets to the shows of Marcus King Band, LP and Morcheeba are asked to hold on to them as these shows are currently being rescheduled.

This comes as the forthcoming 2021 iteration of Bluesfest is set to sport an all-Australian lineup, with the likes of Jimmy Barnes, Ocean Alley, Tash Sultana and more set to play.

Taking place from Thursday, 1st – Monday, 5th April, Bluesfest 2021 – should it go forward – will be the first of Australia’s cornerstone festivals to go ahead since the pandemic halted the entire live music industry.

Tickets for all the rescheduled shows are on sale now.
