Splendour In The Grass Reschedules 2021 Dates

Splendour In The Grass has unfortunately had to reschedule what was once their July 2020 event once again today, pushing back 2021’s dates even further.

Now, instead of happening in July 2021, Splendour In The Grass will now be happening on November of 2021, from Friday, 19th – Sunday, 21st.

There is some good news, however. The event’s three headliners – The Strokes, Gorillaz and Tyler, The Creator – are all available for these new dates, and with the country’s current lack of cases as well as the vaccine rollout, it feels more likely than ever before that the event will be pulled off.

“Australia’s live music industry is made up of many sole traders and small businesses alongside the larger tour and event promoters,” festival co-founders Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco said in a statement.

“In support of them all, we implore the government to provide some form of continued wage subsidy until the industry can once again operate at full capacity.”

Now, anyone who had tickets to the July 2020 iteration will be delighted to know that these tickets remain valid. However, if you are no longer able to attend, you have from today until Wednesday, 31st March to apply for a refund. Moshtix will be in contact with further information.
