Casey Barnes is blessing Music Feeds this morning with the premiere of his newest single ‘Come Turn Me On’. It’s a super fun pop-infused, country bop full of catchy hooks.
Barnes recorded the track with Brown + Gray, a Nashville songwriting duo who also helped out on ‘Sparks Fly’ and ‘We’re Good Together’.
“I’d like to think that we’re trying to shape our own unique sound at the moment,” says Casey as he ponders on his inspiration for the track.
“I don’t really want to sound like anyone else…
“With this single, it has that blend of modern country meets commercial pop which I’ve really connected with over the last few years.
“The song is about a guy who’s basically travelled around the world, seen his fair share of girls but nothing compares to coming home to the one he loves.”
‘Come Turn Me On’ is out officially this Friday, 5th March. You can enjoy a sneaky listen below.
Along with the new single Barnes has a bunch of upcoming shows around the country with a few special regional dates.
