PREMIERE: Melbourne’s Druid Unleash Huge Nu-Metalcore Crusher ‘DTHBLW’

Melbourne nu-metalcore rising stars Druid are gearing up to release their monster new single ‘DTHBLW’ this Friday and we’ve got your exclusive sneak geez down below.

A spectacularly twisted mash of nu-metal and metalcore, the maniacal track jerks you around like an out-of-control speed coaster before crushing you with its raw emotional weight.

According to the band, ‘DTHBLW’ is an important moment in the narrative set to unfold across their forthcoming album.

“[It] plays an integral part of the overarching story told throughout our upcoming album The Beauty and The Decay, as it’s the moment when our character comes to grips with the atrocities he has committed,” the five-piece explain.

“Whilst exploring themes around depression and self loathing it’s also a commentary on how people will do what needs to be done to get ahead in life and that we’re all not that different from each other.”

The track also comes packing a dramatic music video, which depicts the same characters from their previous single, ‘Room 44’.

“In ‘DTHBLW’ we find our male lead in a black void, where he is now in an endless cycle of death. He is trying to escape his demons whilst coming to grips with the passing of his partner,” the band explain.

‘DTHBLW’ drops this Friday May 28 on all streaming platforms and digital stores, but you can watch the music video now, exclusively via Music Feeds, below.
