Watch Twenty One Pilots Go Underwater For ‘Saturday’ Music Video

Twenty One Pilots have shared the music video for ‘Saturday’, taken from their album released back in May, Scaled And Icy. The music video takes place under the sea.

Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun perform on top of a boat, before heading inside a submarine to continue the show. Things go awry when a sea monster smashes into the submarine, breaking the glass.

And chaos ensues.

A media release reveals that the video was shot in an operating submarine and an underwater set. The Andrew Donoho-directed music video is the third they’ve shared from the album Scaled And Icy.

Leading up to the release of ‘Saturday’s music video, the duo shared a few shots from filming. On one shot they wrote, ‘A lot of arguing about editing this video, especially about who should sing that high note.”

“Settling things with a race. Fastest boy picks the edit. You’ll see who won tomorrow.”

Scaled And Icy was released Friday, 21st May. It’s the band’s sixth studio album.

Earlier this year, Twenty One Pilots launched a pop up store in Sydney the day after the album was released.
