St. Vincent To Perform Debut Virtual Concert This August

St. Vincent will make her virtual debut with her Down And Out Downtown concert scheduled to be aired on streaming platform Moment House over two dates across the globe.

Hot off the back of the release of her sixth record, Daddy’s Home, St. Vincent will be adopting the livestream format to perform songs from the album, and reworked cuts from her extensive back catalogue.

She’ll perform alongside a full band, made up of Jason Falkner (guitar), Justin Meldal-Johnsen (bass), Rachel Eckroth (keys), Mark Guiliana (drums). They’ll be joined by backing vocalists Nayanna Holley, Sy Smith and Neka Hamilton.

Down And Out Downtown is a sepia toned tour de force of gritty grooves, hungover glamour and spellbinding musicality,” a statement reads.

“From rollicking full band rave-ups to delicate acoustic interludes, Down And Out Downtown brings the 70s-inspired sensibilities of Daddy’s Home to life in a celebration of unforgettable songs and peerless musicians.”

The virtual concert will air in Australia at 7PM AEST on Friday, 5th August. Grab tickets via the Moment House website.
