Public Enemy Cancel Newcastle Tour Date

Groundbreaking hip-hop icons Public Enemy have dropped out of an upcoming Australian tour date scheduled for the Newcastle Panthers Club on Thursday, 6th March, citing a scheduling conflict. The militant rap outfit will now play just one New South Wales date at Sydney’s Metro Theatre.

The group was initially announced as one of the headlining acts for this year’s Golden Plains festival, set to descend on the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre this March. In addition, PE will also play shows in Adelaide at HQ, Melbourne at The Corner Hotel, and Brisbane at The Hi-Fi Bar.

As theMusic.com.au reports, ticket-holders for the Newcastle date are able to receive a refund from the point of purchase. Readers can check dates plus venue and ticketing details for the remainder of Public Enemy’s 2014 Australian tour dates below and follow their special Feed, here.
