Here’s The First Trailer For Matt Groening’s New Netflix Show ‘Disenchantment’

The first trailer for Matt Groening‘s highly-anticipated new Netflix show Disenchantment has just dropped, and we’re dead bloody keen.

The trailer, albeit brief, sets up the fantasy and medieval-inspired series as a natural progression for Groening, having covered the future in Futurama and the present in The Simpsons. The show also stars the voices Broad City‘s Abbi Jacobson and eccentric TV host Eric Andre.

The teaser clip looks a little more computer generated than what we’re used to from Groening, but still has that iconic and instantly recognisable animation style we’ve come to love since the 1989 debut of The Simpsons.

It’s also the first major show that Groening has written since Futurama. He worked with a team of writers, including A.B. Original MC Briggs.

Netflix has ordered 20 episodes of the show so, and the first season (10 episodes) will be available to stream from Friday, 17th August.
