Hold on to your helmets there Game of Thrones fanatics, HBO has just released the trailer for the show’s much anticipated fourth season and it promises all the bloodshed and debauchery we’ve come to enjoy from our favourite fantasy kingdoms.
All your beloved characters, well the alive ones at least, are there to give audiences a taste of what to expect this coming season. King Joffrey boasts of winning the war, is set straight by Jaime Lannister, Tyrion is in shackles and Khaleesi threatens wrath, “They have a choice. They can live in my new world or they can die in their old one.”
The season also promises a host of new characters with author George R.R. Martin recently telling E! News, “We finally introduce one of the most popular characters from the books, Prince Oberon Martell. The Red Viper of Dorne will be introduced for the first time and there will be some other new characters that I think the fans will like.”
Game of Thrones returns Sunday, 6 April on HBO in the US and will premiere on Australia’s Foxtel on 7 April.
