Salt. The New Arts, Fashion And Music Night Opens June 7

Devised under the premise of creating more spice in Sydney’s Creative scene, Salt. has a very special focus: to bring local creatives together under one roof to install a welcoming environment with a downtown New York feel, and the result of which will be events like no other.

Salt. will be collaborating with designers, photographers, and artists etc to inflict a totally unique vibe. Displays and artworks will not be made just to look at and admire, but also so you can engage them.

The night will officially kick off on June 7 at The Village in Sydney’s Potts Point. At the inaugural event, Voena, a Sydney based photography collective, will be displaying their captured moments spanning fashion, music, art and travel, while William Suen will be incorporating a live visual show that utilises a myriad of vintage movie samples. Salt. resident DJs Zyklus, Type – 1A (N.Y.), Dan What (Melb), Tom Wall, and Whitecat will provide deep house soundscape for the evening. Ashia Levis will be presenting her Rock Me Billy collection, paying homage to the rockabilly ladies and the pinup girls of years gone by while clashing this style with a gritty modern edge.
