Space Jam: A New Legacy is due to hit theatres next month. Now, we have a new trailer AND a new taster of its soundtrack from SZA and SAINt JHN, ‘Just For Me’.
The collaborative track, ‘Just For Me’ is a lowkey RnB jam filled with loved up lyrics from the pair.
You can listen to ‘Just For Me’ and check out its lyric video down below.
As well as the new track, we have a second trailer for the coveted Space Jam sequel.
The trailer shows LeBron James stepping into a similar role as Michael Jordan in the ’96 classic. Except this time, the Monstars are replaced by the Goon Squad, a group of AI-generated stars from the NBA and WNBA.
As well as getting us hyped as for the new release, the trailer reveals a couple of more clues around the soundtrack.
Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘Pump Up the Jam’ and Cordae and Duckwrth’s ‘Settle The Score’ can be heard throughout the clip.
We’re yet to get a full tracklisting for the film’s soundtrack. So far we’ve heard the new SZA and SAINt JHN collab and Lil Baby and Kirk Franklin’s ‘We Win’.
Space Jam: A New Legacy is set to hit theatres mid-July — that’s next month!!
The 1996 original bodes well for the quality of the sequel’s soundtrack.
It featured a bunch of bangers including Quad City DJ’s ‘Space Jam’ and Spin Doctors’ ‘That’s The Way.
Bugs Bunny’s ‘Buggin’ also slaps, frankly.
