Watch: Jake From ‘Two And A Half Men’ Finds God, Urges Fans To Stop Watching Show

There must be an unreal amount of pressure on the very well paid cast of smash hit Two and a Half Men. First Charlie Sheen loses the plot via a very public meltdown, now it’s Angus T. Jones’ (better known as Jake Harper) time to shine.

Very little is known about this dude other than the fact that he’s paid around $350,000 per episode. Most of us know more about his loveable character who grew up in front of our eyes than the actor who plays him. But the 19-year-old Jones has recently found God and now views the risque sitcom as the tool of ‘the enemy’.

In the below video posted to YouTube, Jones addresses fans of the long-running series, stating, “If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men; I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth.”

OK, well he’s totally fired. But it goes on…

Jones urges viewers to “do some research on the effects of television in your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to … what you watch on the television. It’s bad news.” He adds, “You cannot be a true God-fearing person, and be on a television show like that. I know I can’t.”

Jones has joined up to the fast-growing Cali-based Forerunners Christian group. Finding God might not be such a bad thing for the teenager, whose uncle is currently serving a 99-year prison sentence, and both parents have been in and out of jail for most of his life.

Little Jakey, you’re all grown up now. Too bad everyone stopped watching a long time ago.

TMZ have also reported on the drama, stating that despite Jones’ remarks that he doesn’t want to be in the show, he hasn’t expressed anything to the show’s top dogs. No one’s fired him and he is yet to quit, though the cast are set to rehearse sometime very soon. Talk about awkward.
