Sydney-based singer and songwriter Birdee returns today with her new single ‘Monday Throwaway’, which is being premiered today right here at Music Feeds.
Revelling in the thought of youthful adolescence, ‘Monday Throwaway’ captures a fleeting point in time, not wanting to take any of it for granted.
“‘Monday Throwaway’ is about the days of being young and youthful, enjoying the young adulthood of freedom while it lasts.”
The blissful indie-pop cut pairs live instrumentation with Birdee’s soaring vocal. She worked with an all-star crew of producers and writers for this one, with the song being produced and co-written by Toby Anagnostis (Butter Bath) who has recently teamed up, working with Nick Littlemore (PNAU, Empire of the Sun). The song was also arranged and produced by Budo J. Miller.
