Brisbane hip hop outfit Butterfingers are well and truly back in the game, today unveiling the highly entertaining visuals for their latest party anthem/ cautionary tale ‘Big Night Out’.
The clip takes cinematic cues from the film noir aesthetic of crime thriller Sin City, without sacrificing the outfit’s trademark hilarious point of view. Which is no easy task, especially considering the song itself details the true story of the time lead singer Evil Eddie was left trapped in a back alley with a broken spine, after a big night out.
Butterfingers have also announced three headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, which kick off next month. They will be joined by punkers Flangipanis and newcomer duo Otis High at their sold out Brisbane show. Big Village label boss and wordsmith Rapaport will support in Sydney and Melbourne, alongside Sarah Connor in Sydney and Juñor in Melbourne.
