PREMIERE: Get Lost In The Beauty Of Jack In Water’s Entrancing Video For ‘All I Want’

UK singer-songwriter William Clapson, aka Jack in Water, has today unveiled the compelling visual accompaniment to his latest single, ‘All I Want.’

All I Want is Clapson’s uplifting and grand ode to the things that are most important in life, and the single’s striking, stripped back video amplifies this pledge to being present in the moment. “I wanted the video to be something honest and simple,” explains Clapson, who created the video himself.

“‘All I Want’ is a reflection of my attempt to be less absent. In it I try to articulate some of the things that distract me from being honest with myself and those I care about; the silly distractions or fears that pull you out of the moment.”

“During filming the video I was mainly just intensely staring at the camera and singing, in my head I was essentially Sinead O’Connor all broody and intense but in reality I was in front of the sea in a public area. Every now and then that reality kicked in either because some grumpy dog walkers strolled past or I caught a glimpse of my wife sniggering behind the camera. So the result was slightly different than I had planned.”

‘All I Want’ is taken from Jack In Water’s EP Absence, recorded in Oslo and featuring musical contributions from Jamie Cameron a.k.a. The Last Dinosaur and label mate Austin Basham.
