Perth rockers The Floors have today unleashed blistering new single ‘Pills’, giving us an exciting taste of their forthcoming sophomore album Beat It Down, out this March.
Brandishing an Eagles Of Death Metal vibe, the rollicking track deals with the thrills of abandonment, consequences be damned. “Pills is about surrendering yourself to vices rather than holding them at bay,” explains frontman Luke Dux. “Taking the easy, destructive way out.”
Beat It Down is The Floors’ second full-length studio album and was written and road tested over a few years. The guys then took the raw tracks into a studio with mate Dan Carroll, recording them old school, live to 8-track.
The resulting album will be unveiled to the world in all its unhinged glory on March 10th. For now though, give ‘Pills’ a spin below.
