Stand Atlantic Share 10 Of Their Fave Aussie Tunes RN

Stand Atlantic may have just torn up the ARIA charts with their new album WAS HERE, and packed out the biggest venues of their career on their celebratory Australian East Coast headline tour, but the Sydney-spawned foursome are never ones to make it all about themselves.

Despite riding high on the wave of hype surrounding their shiny new fourth studio LP as they shimmy into BIGSOUND for their first ever artist showcase, the genre-hopping alternative rock act have still taken the time to shoutout ten of their favourite tunes from other homegrown artists who are killing it right now. The Buoys – ‘Check Mate’

From Bon: “fun fact, courtney (bass) and i were in a band together when we were 12/13 and now the buoys are taking over the world, great band great songs lovely people. i love the lyrics in this song and the melodies and style sonically just reminds me of home. their sound as a whole just has a nostalgic sense to it for me and i love that.
