28 Injured In US Nightclub Shooting

28 people have been injured after a shooting at a Finese TwoTymes concert in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The incident allegedly happened as a result of a dispute at Power Ultra Lounge with Little Rock Police Department tweeting that they, “do NOT believe this incident was an active shooter or terror related incident.”

As CNN report, all but three of the injured were shot with two of them initially listed to be in a critical condition.

That status was later updated to stable with all victims expected to survive.

Police have still not identified a suspect and they are interviewing witnesses and victims.

Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson released a statement after the shooting saying that the crime problem in Arkansas was, “intensifying.”

“Every few days it seems a high profile shooting dominates the news, culminating with this morning’s event.”

Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola further expressed his desire to shut down the nightclub where the shooting took place in an effort to “cease” this kind of activity. A notice was later posted on the door of the venue demanding that they vacate the premises within three days.

The artist who was perfomring on the night Finese TwoTymes has taken to his Facebook to address the incident writing, “PRAYERS GO TO THE INNOCENT PEOPLE AND THERE FAMILY THAT CAME OUT TO SUPPORT ME, LAST NIGHT IN LITTLE ROCK ARK.”

“WE ALL COME WITH 1 MOTIVE AT THE END OF THE DAY, AND THATS TO HAVE FUN. NOT TO BE HURT.”

College student Khalid Stewart was in the club when the shooting took place and told CNN that it was “crazy”.

“People didn’t know whether to run or stay down cause you couldn’t see where he was. You could just hear the gun shots. As soon as you saw people trying to run you see them run right back in.”
