A Perfect Circle Unveil New Song On Upcoming Greatest Hits Compilation

Alt-rock icon Maynard James Keenan has made good on last week’s Instagram promise, when he assured fans that “Music [was] happening on all fronts.” It’s been revealed A Perfect Circle‘s upcoming greatest hits compilation, Three Sixty is set to feature a brand new song.

Scheduled for a 19th November release date, Three Sixty will feature the band’s first new material in nine years, in the form of the track By and Down. The compilation will feature the best tracks from all three of APC’s albums — Mer de Noms, Thirteenth Step, and eMOTIVe — including the new song to make 13 tracks.

Meanwhile, the deluxe edition of Three Sixty will feature 19 songs, including four live performances of the songs People are People, 3 Libras, Gravity, and the band’s cover of Joni Mitchell’s Fiddle and the Drum.

Speaking about the compilation, Keenan said “Billy [Howerdel] and I created A Perfect Circle out of a now long-running friendship, and I think the music we have made reflects that personal connection and has given us the ability to further develop and trust our intuition. I feel ‘Three Sixty’ is an accurate representation of that friendship and those instincts.”
