Rumours are swirling that AC/DC are gearing up to announce their first Australian tour in a decade. The Aussie rock icons are reportedly planning to bring their global Power Up reunion tour down under in late 2025.
“Industry insiders” have apparently spilled the beans to the Herald Sun newspaper, pointing to major stadiums including Sydney’s Olympic Park (ANZ Stadium), the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Adelaide Oval, and Optus Stadium in Perth as being on Acca Dacca’s would-be tour itinerary.
AC/DC – ‘Shot In The Dark’
The legendary act returned to the live arena with a UK tour last year, have already announced US dates for 2025 with frontman Brian Johnson, who is back in the fold after bouncing back from issues with his hearing. But as of right now, they haven’t announced any touring past April.
If the rumours are true, these new Australian dates would mark AC/DC’s first time playing live on home soil since 2015, when they toured in support of their Rock Or Bust LP.
We’ll keep you updated with more news as it develops.
