Adele Reportedly Touring Australia In March, Looking For Houses To Crash At

UPDATE 15/11/16: Adele has finally announced her first ever Australian tour dates.

ORIGINAL STORY: We seem to be edging closer and closer to Adele‘s first ever Aussie tour announcement. We first heard word on Sunday that the goliath-voiced pop megastar was readying an Australian tour for early 2017, and now the whispers are turning into a belt.

The Music Network is reporting intel that everyone’s favourite foul-mouthed cockney singer-songwriter will be bringing her Adele Live Tour 2017 to our shores in March, performing dates in all five major capital cities (yep, that includes Adelaide and Perth).

The Music Network reckons that an announcement is “imminent” from promoters Live Nation, who won a fierce bidding war to snag the tour, with tickets going on sale “in coming days” and set to sell out in minutes. The publication has also reportedly confirmed that Adele has declined the promoter’s requests to sell premium VIP meet and greet packages to her Aussie fans, *sob*.

Meanwhile, the whole thing has given us a new lead on who that “world’s top-selling vocal artist” looking to rent a few luxury houses in Australia next March might be.

Until now, we all thought said popstar was Justin Bieber, who also has an Aussie tour going down around that time. But as TMN points out, the paparazzi-shunning Adele makes much more sense.

First off, the Biebs isn’t visiting Adelaide on his Purpose World Tour and famously prefers hotel rooms. Secondly, luxury real estate company Luxico’s listing specifies room for one child. And thirdly, Adele’s advertised dates also align perfectly with the listings’ and are during the UK’s Easter school holidays.

So there you go. If you’re the proud owner of a swanky multi-million dollar pad in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth, you could be Airbnb-ing your bed to Adele for the price of $6,000 a night when she comes down under to say Hello from the other side (of the world) for the very first time.
