Adele Is Gearing Up To Announce Her First-Ever Australian Tour

UPDATE 15/11/16: Adele has finally announced her first ever Australian tour dates.

ORIGINAL STORY: Get ready to say Hello to Adele for the very first time.

Word on the street is the goliath-voiced cockney chanteuse is getting ready to announce her debut Aussie tour for 2017.

Yep. After LONG LAST the Rolling In The Deep diva is about to venture to the ~other side~ of the world to perform her songbook of heart-stopping hits live while we inevitably bawl into our pre-packed stashes of jumbo Kleenex.

Music Feeds understands that the announcement is set to be made in the next three weeks – most likely in the first or second week of November – and while it’s not yet known who’ll be responsible for promoting the tour, we’re banking our bucks on concert giants Live Nation, who’ve sorted out all of the singer’s European, North American and Canadian dates so far this year.

Adele’s first ever Aussie jaunt is expected to hit stadiums across Straya’s major capital cities, and inject millions into our tenuous live music economy (Adele’s Live 2016 tour just hit #1 on Billboard‘s most recent Hot Tours Tally, beating the likes of Beyonce and Rihanna to gross a casual $150 million and counting).

Back in July, Adele confirmed that she was officially plotting her first visit Down Under, despite her Aussie label and then soon-to-be new international label both denying any knowledge.

And these latest whispers of an imminent Adele Aussie tour announcement come after legendary promoter Michael Gudinski teased that early 2017 was packing “the biggest run of concerts you’ve seen… ever” (tours by Guns N’ Roses, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band together with a reformed JetJustin Bieber and Green Day have since been announced for the first half of next year).

One thing’s for sure: when Adele’s debut Aus tour does finally get announced, it’s pretty much guaranteed to sell the-fark out, given that Adele-mania seems to be bloody rampant in this country.

The pop mega-star’s albums have sold more than 1.7 million collective copies Down Under, with her latest LP 25 going 8 x platinum and her comeback smash single Hello hogging #1 on the ARIA charts for what felt like forevz.

So for now, try to contain yourselves, and we’ll bring you the official announcement of the tour you’ve been waiting so long for when it inevitably hits.
