Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has been rushed to a New York hospital after collapsing on stage during a gig with his supergroup side project Hollywood Vampires.
According to reports, the 65-year-old muso was playing alongside Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp, when he apparently walked offstage during the show and collapsed. According to Page Six, Perry was rushed to Coney Island hospital, where he is reportedly listed as being in a stable condition
Video from the gig appears to show Perry struggling to stand and play, leaning against the drum kit, before moving off stage.
Unconfirmed reports from the venue say that Perry lost consciousness after reportedly going into cardiac arrest, and police on the scene had to revived him. Some are also reporting that Alice Cooper told the audience that Perry had been “very sick” prior to the performance.
