Against Me! 2015 Australian Tour Announced

US punks Against Me! have announced an Australian tour for this coming May and June and will play a series of national headline shows supported by California outfit Joyce Manor.

The band, fronted by Laura Jane Grace, will kick off the tour at Brisbane’s Hi-Fi on Friday, 29th May followed by shows in Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne.

The tour will serve as Australia’s live introduction to Against Me!’s latest record Transgender Dysphoria Blues, the first album from the band since frontwoman Laura Jane Grace publicly came out as transgender.

Against Me! were initially rumoured to be a part of the Soundwave 2015 lineup when they expressed interest in playing but according to promoter AJ Maddah, they priced themselves out of a Soundwave spot. Against Me! were last in Australia for Big Day Out 2013.

UPDATE 04/02/15: Against Me! have added a second Melbourne date to their 2015 Australian tour. The newly-announced show will take place at the Corner Hotel on Sunday, 7th June. Updated tour details are available below.
